Grilled Pink Grapefruit

Did you know: Women both with or without a prior breast cancer often take a multi vitamin and mineral supplement. Many women also need calcium supplements (D3) to meet their daily calcium requirements. Women may need a bit more of a specific nutrient like Folate and Vitamin A. Research has shown that getting the nutrients you need from a variety of foods, especially fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, can make you feel your best and give your body the energy it needs.   • 1 pink grapefruit

  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup

  • 1 pinch ground allspice

  • mint sprig, to garnish (optional)


  1. Preheat the grill.

  2. Peel the grapefruit and remove the pith.

  3. Cut in to quarters.

  4. Place the quarters in a ovenproof shallow dish.

  5. Mix together the honey and allspice and spoon over the grapefruit quarters.

  6. Cook under the grill for 5 minutes.

  7. Serve garnished with mint, if desired
