Overnight Oats!

When meal prepping, don't forget your breakfast! If you don't have time to cook every morning or you're just not an "early bird gets the worm" type of person, try the alternative of overnight oats.  It's quick and easy...All you have to do is grab & go!  

Here's a great recipe for all you oatmeal lovers:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup steel cut or old fashioned oats**

  • 1/4 Cup Low-fat, almond, or coconut milk

  • 1/3 Cup low-fat or Greek yogurt

  • Chopped almonds, cashews, or pistachios

  • 1/2 Cup frozen or fresh fruit, diced

  • 1 Teaspoon Honey or Agave

  • 1 Teaspoon Chia 

Instructions

Add oats to your container of choice and pour in milk and low-fat yogurt. Mix in chopped nuts. Add a layer of fruit. Top off with a drizzle of honey or agave and chia seeds. Place in fridge and enjoy in the morning or a few hours later!

**Instant oatmeal will work as well.  If you want even more crunch, add more toppings like granola, nuts, or fruit in the morning. Frozen fruit are great for this recipe as the juices are thaw for a more refreshing taste!
